Sewer Service Letter

Formally known as Sewer Availability Letter, as well as the Certification Letter. This letter is for all projects that go through Santa Barbara County Planning & Development. All projects in the County Planning phase must obtain a letter.  Agency Approval Forms are for Building Department clearance and will be required for all projects.
The purpose of the Letter is essentially a parcel progress report with potential conditions that a project must satisfy in order to receive an approval from the Montecito Sanitary District.  Since MSD is an extension of the County Planning and Development division, all property improvement projects within Montecity Sanitary District Boundaries must undergo a thurough review to ensure the integrity of the sanitary collection system and infrastructure at the treatment plant.
