On August 31, 2015 the Board of Directors approved a contract with Water Consultancy of Ventura to prepare a Wastewater Rate Study Report to analyze cost of services and sewer service rates for the District.

Every year the District reports annual salary/compensation data for all MSD employees to the State Controller's Office.  The SCO database contains information on the salary and other compensation of public employee positions in cities, counties, special districts, CSU and UC systems, and most state employees.

In accordance with the requirements of the general provisions of the District's NPDES permit No. CA0047899.

The requirement to develop a Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) is included in the District’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit No. CA0047899; issued by the State & Regional Quality Control Boards. In developing its SSMP the District has summarized its activities, procedures, and core documents as they relate to each topic required by the SSMP.
