Director Newquist was appointed to the Board in November 2024. 

He has served on the Montecito Fire Protection District, Montecito Association, Montecito Historical Archives, Sansum Diabetes, Alzheimer's Association, Murphy Auto Museum, and is president of Antique Automobile Club of America, Santa Barbara region.  Director Newquist is an Army Veteran.

He has founded several ventures in the fields of computer retailing, video, solar and for the past 26 years owner of Mission Villa, an Alzheimer's facility.
